“These visual poems contain echo and wave, reciprocal and reaching towards contact. Luis Camnitzer’s Two Parallel Lines serve as location and footnote, inviting the reader into a generous space of incantation. One rotates the direction of the book, like one turns one’s head to listen. Embodied geometries of fold and encounter. The shared space of breath. A restless vocabulary, the doing of writing. Drawn and written lines hold absence in elastic fullness, words to come, the possibility of arrival — utterances that sound out, in, and through.”
