I Ghosted Your House In Hopes of Encouraging You

  you shot me
              in the yard

sits a house       a dark color
                                          of course

          there in a way                                               unlikely

                                        a mistranslation

                                        a list of things


I need                   and you’re preoccupied



          out loud       your name means


                                                      a frightening thing

          each time                         there is more

          flesh on you like a surprise


I have a feeling                                         at close range


a dark color     each time

there is more       flesh
